Applications are currently open for the 2026 Schneider Electric Young Industry Leaders Scholarship Programme, a prestigious initiative funded by Schneider Electric to support international students pursuing Master’s degrees in Energy and Sustainability in Germany.
The scholarship is linked to the Master-in-Energy programmes offered at the EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf, where selected scholars are trained to become future leaders in energy management, sustainability, and digital transformation. Through this programme, students gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on exposure to modern energy systems, digitization, and sustainable industry practices.
In addition to full academic funding, beneficiaries will work part-time with Schneider Electric under a paid working student contract, enabling them to acquire practical industry experience while preparing for leadership roles across global energy and industrial sectors.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Schneider Electric Young Industry Leaders Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be admitted to one of the eligible Master-in-Energy programmes at EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf
- Successfully complete the selection process for the approved Master’s programmes
- Possess an excellent academic background in a relevant technical field, including:
- Electrical Engineering
- Energy Engineering
- Energy Management Systems
- Mechanical Engineering
- Automation
- Process Engineering
- Building Technology
- Sustainability or related disciplines
- Have at least one (1) year of relevant postgraduate work experience, with preference for experience in:
- Sales
- Project Management
- Business Development
- Service-related roles
- Demonstrate good German language proficiency at the time of application (minimum B1 or B2 level) and show willingness to continuously improve
- Be flexible and willing to work across Germany, Austria, or Switzerland after graduation, preferably in customer-facing or service roles
- Show strong enthusiasm for sustainability and possess a digital mindset
- Exhibit intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, community engagement, and alignment with Schneider Electric’s IMPACT values
