Scholarship Details
The Rolls Royce Scholarship is offered as a PhD studentship in Micromechanics and Advanced Materials Analysis of Aerospace Components under Manufacturing Processes. The project is hosted at the Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre (UTC) in Manufacturing Technology and On-Wing Technology, one of the world’s leading research facilities equipped with cutting-edge resources for aerospace innovation.
This doctoral research will focus on understanding the micromechanics and behavior of advanced aerospace materials during and after the manufacturing process. Students will benefit from a stimulating research environment, combining academic rigor at the University of Nottingham with industrial expertise from Rolls-Royce.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Rolls Royce Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
