Robotics Artificial Intelligence Nigeria (RAIN) invites applications for its 2025 scholarship program aimed at developing the next generation of robotics and AI innovators in Nigeria and West Africa.
The program is a free tuition training opportunity for passionate and technically skilled youth to become proficient in robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence, while receiving hands-on experience with tools and technologies that shape the future.
Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the RAIN Scholarship 2025, applicants must:
Academic Qualifications
- Recent graduates
- Preferably but not limited to First-class degree holders with excellent references from university lecturers
- Backgrounds in:
- Engineering
- Computer Science
- Computing
- Mathematics
- Physical Sciences
Technical Requirements
- Demonstrable knowledge of coding, especially in Python, C++, or C
- Passion for robotics, automation, and/or artificial intelligence
- Must provide own laptop (16GB RAM, Core i7 recommended)
- Must arrange personal accommodation in Ibadan
Citizenship & Residency
- Open to anyone legally permitted to study in Nigeria
- Not limited to Nigerian citizens – applicants from across West Africa are welcome
