The Radboud Scholarship Programme offers talented and highly motivated non-EEA students with outstanding academic performance the opportunity to study a complete English-taught Master’s programme at Radboud University in the Netherlands.

Funded by the Profiling Fund of Radboud University, this scholarship provides up to €15,000 per year in tuition reduction and also covers visa, residence permit, health insurance, and liability insurance for the duration of your stay in the Netherlands.

Scholarship Details

Selected scholars who are admitted into a two-year Master’s programme must successfully pass all courses in their first year to remain eligible for the scholarship in their second year.

The Radboud Scholarship Programme cannot be combined with the Radboud Encouragement Scholarship or Fulbright-Radboud Scholarship. While applicants may apply for multiple scholarships, only one will be granted. However, it can be combined with the NL Scholarship. Applicants interested in the NL Scholarship are encouraged to review the eligibility and application process on the university’s official website.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Radboud University Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

  • Hold a non-EU/non-EEA passport.
  • Not be eligible for the lower EU/EEA tuition fees.
  • Have (or be obtaining) a Bachelor’s degree earned outside the Netherlands, and must not have obtained any previous degrees or completed any formal education in the Netherlands (except exchange programmes that are part of an international degree).
  • Meet the English language proficiency requirement for the chosen Master’s programme.
  • Have received full admission to an English-taught Master’s programme starting September 1, 2026, as confirmed in the official letter of admission.
  • Be eligible for a student visa for the Netherlands.
  • Be enrolled full-time at Radboud University for the academic year and programme for which the scholarship is awarded.

Scholarship Benefits

Successful applicants of this scholarship will receive:

  • The scholarship reduces the tuition fee to €2,530 per year. For instance, a 2026/2027 recipient will pay only €2,690 instead of approximately €18,000.
  • The award also covers visa, residence permit, health insurance, and liability insurance (Aon Student Insurance).
  • Note: The cost of living and daily expenses in the Netherlands are not covered by this scholarship.
