The NNPC/TotalEnergies International Scholarship is a prestigious global education initiative aimed at supporting outstanding Nigerian students. The scheme provides full funding for high-achieving undergraduates to pursue STEM-related degrees at top-tier institutions worldwide.
The scholarship is designed to nurture Nigeria’s next generation of energy professionals by giving them access to international learning environments, world-class facilities, and strong industry networks. For the 2026 edition, more than 100 scholars will be selected and supported with financial and academic assistance to enable them thrive in their chosen fields.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NNPC/TotalEnergies International Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Nationality:
- Be a Nigerian citizen living in Nigeria.
- Academic Qualifications:
- Hold a university degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division, obtained not more than five years ago.
- Have a strong academic record with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale or equivalent.
- Field of Study:
- Must apply for STEM-related courses such as engineering, geosciences, or energy-focused fields.
- NYSC Requirement:
- Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Other Requirements:
- Must not have received any similar fully funded international scholarship.
