The NNPC MPN JV Emoimee Scholarship Scheme was established to support educational advancement as a means of empowering young individuals to make positive contributions to their communities.
This initiative, launched under the Emoimee Host Community Development Trust in Ikot Abasi, offers annual financial assistance to eligible students enrolled in accredited tertiary institutions across Nigeria. The scholarship is aimed at nurturing talent, encouraging academic excellence, and promoting responsible citizenship among beneficiaries.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the NNPC MPN JV Emoimee Scholarship, applicants must:
General Requirements:
- Be an indigene of Ikot Abasi Local Government Area (LGA).
- Be enrolled in an accredited public or private tertiary institution in Nigeria.
- Have completed at least one academic session in their current institution.
Academic Requirements:
- University students must have a minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2).
- Polytechnic / Colleges of Nursing students must have Upper Credit.
- Colleges of Education students must have Merit as their minimum grade.
Conduct & Scholarship Conditions:
- Must not be under any other scholarship award.
- Must not belong to cult groups or any unlawful association.
- Must maintain strong academic performance each session.
- Must submit academic results at the beginning of every new session.
- Any breach of the scholarship rules will result in immediate withdrawal.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful beneficiaries will receive:
- ₦400,000 annual financial support
- Renewable each year until graduation, based on satisfactory academic performance.
