Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Nigeria LNG (NLNG) Prize for Science Award, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The award is open to scientists and innovators worldwide (both Nigerians and non-Nigerians) applying science to develop innovative technologies and solutions
- Members of the Advisory Board, Panel of Judges, and their relatives are not eligible to submit entries during their year of service and the following year
- Staff of Nigeria LNG Limited and their family members are ineligible during their years of service and for five (5) years after leaving service
- The submitted work must demonstrate outstanding merit and significantly advance knowledge or provide innovative technological solutions
- The entry must be a completed scientific work supported by proof of concept or clear evidence of tangible societal impact
- Only one submission is permitted per individual or group
- All supporting materials must be submitted within the specified timeframe
