The IMD MBA Nestlé Scholarship for Women was launched in 1997 and has been supporting future women leaders ever since.
The Institut pour l’Etude des Méthodes de Direction de l’Entreprise (IMEDE), now known as IMD Business School, was established in Lausanne by Nestlé in coordination with Harvard Business School.
The MBA program at IMD offers students an engaging blend of cutting-edge academic content and practical, hands-on learning experiences, equipping them with essential knowledge and tools to tackle contemporary business challenges and pursue leadership roles in global organizations.
Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the Nestlé MBA Scholarship in Switzerland, applicants must:
- Demonstrate excellence in previous academic and/or professional endeavors, including GPA (or equivalent) and GMAT/GRE
- Convince the selection committee of their ambition and ability to use their education to pursue a leadership role
- Show evidence of career progression and international exposure
- Be able to contribute to the overall learning experience of the MBA class
- Perform strongly during the Assessment Day
- Submit an essay of 750 words on:
“Building a diverse and inclusive workplace requires the participation and accountability of each member of the organization. What would you recommend as ways for Nestlé to better foster allyship amongst employees?” - Priority will be given to women from developing countries
- Employees of Nestlé or its subsidiaries are not eligible
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants of the Nestlé MBA Scholarship in Switzerland will receive:
- CHF 40,000 as financial support toward the cost of tuition fees for the MBA program
