The NDE Renewed Hope Employment Initiative 2025 offers a fully sponsored opportunity for technical, vocational, and digital skill acquisition. Selected applicants will receive a monthly stipend of ₦30,000, a certificate of completion, and starter kits or access to loans to help them begin or grow their businesses.

Program Overview
The National Directorate of Employment has launched the second phase of its Renewed Hope Employment Initiative as part of its efforts to align with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda. This initiative is designed to tackle unemployment and poverty by providing practical skill development and entrepreneurship training to Nigerians across various sectors.
Through this initiative, the NDE aims to equip participants with relevant, hands-on training that enhances their ability to secure employment or create jobs. This intervention supports the agency’s broader mandate of promoting job creation and reducing youth unemployment nationwide.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the NDE Renewed Hope Employment Initiative 2025, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of Nigeria
- Be between the ages of 18 and 45
- Be willing to acquire skills, engage in productive work, or start a business
Eligible categories include:
- Unemployed youths and school leavers
- Graduates
- Informal sector workers and artisans
- Women
- Persons with disabilities
- Farmers and rural residents
- Middle-aged individuals and retirees
- Apprentices and interns
- Owners of small businesses
Program Benefits
Participants selected for the NDE Renewed Hope Employment Initiative will receive:
