Scholarship Details
The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) offers Masters Scholarships as part of its continuous efforts to enhance human resource development in the Niger Delta region. These scholarships provide opportunities for Nigerian students from the Niger Delta to study abroad.
The commission was established to provide a lasting solution to the socio-economic challenges of the Niger Delta Region and to drive the rapid and sustainable development of the area into an economically prosperous, socially stable, ecologically regenerative, and politically peaceful region.
The NDDC Local Masters Scholarship aims to foster global competitiveness by supporting academic excellence and professional development in key disciplines essential for regional and national development.
Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the NDDC Local Masters Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be indigenes of the Niger Delta Region
- Be not older than forty (40) years of age
- Possess a First Class, Second Class Upper, or Lower Bachelor’s Degree, or
- Alternatively, possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Upper Credit and a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD)
