Scholarship Details
The NCDMB Oil and Gas Training Program 2025 is a flagship capacity-building initiative under the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act, created to reduce reliance on foreign expertise by equipping Nigerian youth with industry-ready skills. For 2025, the programme emphasises hands-on training in high-demand areas across the value chain; upstream exploration, midstream processing, and downstream distribution.
Trainees complete 6–12 months of intensive learning at accredited centres that combine classroom instruction with on-site simulations and practical exercises. The programme is a launchpad into entry-level roles with major industry players and aligns with continental goals to boost African competitiveness; over 5,000 Nigerians have benefited since inception, with many progressing to well-paid roles.
