Scholarship Details
The Nankai University Fully Funded Undergraduate Scholarships 2026 offer international students the chance to study at one of China’s leading universities with comprehensive financial support. The scholarships are funded either by Nankai University itself or by the Government of China.
The program encourages academic excellence, cultural exchange, and global engagement. Four different scholarship options are available for new undergraduate students beginning in the September 2025 academic session, each offering varying levels of financial support and benefits.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Nankai University Undergraduate Scholarships, applicants must:
- Be non-Chinese citizens in good health
- Be at least 18 years old (born before September 1, 2007)
- Hold a senior high school diploma with strong academic performance
- Have HSK Level 4 proficiency with a minimum score of 180
- Meet the scholarship policy and regulations outlined in Document No. 12 (2020) of the Ministry of Education of China
- Meet additional academic or program-specific requirements where applicable

Required Documents
Applicants must prepare:
- Application form
- Valid passport information page (valid beyond September 1, 2026)
- Highest academic certificate and notarized translations if needed
- Official senior high school transcripts (with notarized translations if required)
- Personal statement (Chinese or English)
- HSK Level 4 certificate (minimum score 180)
- One recommendation letter
- Additional supporting documents (awards, papers, certificates, etc.)
- Record of Physical Examination for Foreigners (issued after November 2024)
- Proof of financial capacity
- Non-criminal record affidavit

- Application window: October 20, 2025 – June 30, 2026
- Applications will be reviewed by Nankai University
- Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an integrated assessment held between March and May 2026
- Top-performing applicants may be recommended for the Chinese Government Scholarship or awarded the Study-at-NKU President Scholarship
- Admission notices will be issued starting June 2026
