The MTN ICT Business Skills Training Program 2025 has officially opened applications for young Nigerians. This initiative is a youth empowerment project designed to provide entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 35 with tech-driven skills to ensure their small businesses remain competitive and relevant. The training will be conducted over a 5-week online program, featuring Masterclasses from top industry professionals.
To support effective participation, applicants will receive free data throughout the training, and the top 600 participants will be awarded an Equipment Grant valued at ₦300,000,000.

Program Details
The MTN ICT and Business Skills Training Program was launched to empower young entrepreneurs with digital and entrepreneurial knowledge essential for sustaining their businesses. Since its inception in 2018, the program has been carried out in partnership with global organizations such as Oracle, KPMG, IBM, Digital Bridge Institute, CISCO, Google, Meta, and Microsoft. Over five phases, it has been implemented across 16 states in Nigeria, producing more than 4,036 beneficiaries who successfully completed the training.
This 7th phase of the program will engage 6,000 participants in collaboration with Microsoft and Meta. The training will cover a wide range of topics designed to boost business efficiency in the digital age. Microsoft will focus on modules such as Entrepreneurship in the Digital Era, ICT for Business Success, and Generative AI Skills. Meta will deliver training on brand building, online business growth, and digital marketing through their Meta Boost Small Business Studios.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this program, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian male or female aged 18 – 35 years
- Own and manage a small business that has operated for no more than 2 years
- Own and run a business located in one of the following states: Abuja, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Enugu, Ondo, Plateau, Sokoto, or Taraba
