Important: Eligibility is determined by state of origin, not the state where the applicant’s school or institution is located.
Basic Requirements
General Requirements (All Applicants)
Applicants must:
- Be a Muslim
- Be actively involved in an Islamic organisation, such as:
- MSS/MSA (campus-based)
- Local mosque activities
- Recognised Islamic or Da’wah organisations
- Come from a low-income family
- Be enrolled in a public institution or public secondary school
- Be willing to attend a physical interview if shortlisted
- Note that only successful applicants will be contacted
Undergraduate Requirements
Undergraduate applicants must meet at least one of the following academic criteria:
- Minimum CGPA of 2.0 / 4.0, or
- Minimum CGPA of 3.0 / 5.0, or
- Minimum CGPA of 4.2 / 7.0, or
- Minimum of 60% average for institutions without a GPA system
In addition:
- Applicants must attach their first semester result during application
Public Secondary School Requirements (SS2 Only)
Secondary school applicants must:
- Be in SS2 in a public secondary school
- Have a credit pass in at least five (5) subjects, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
