The Polar Remote Sensing Research Group, led by Dr. Mallik Mahmud in the Department of Geography, Faculty of Science at McGill University, is actively recruiting undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD students.
The lab conducts cutting-edge research in sea ice remote sensing, combining innovative remote sensing technologies with field-based Arctic studies. The group’s work is driven by Highly Qualified Personnel (HQP) committed to advancing sea ice monitoring and environmental science.
Opportunities are available for:
- Graduate students (MSc & PhD) to pursue research assistantships with full funding.
- Undergraduate students to participate in summer or part-time research internships through programs such as SURA and NSERC USRA.
Eligibility Criteria
