This scholarship supports graduate-level education at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, and reflects Matrix Energy’s commitment to fostering local expertise and capacity development within Nigeria’s engineering sector. Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Matrix Energy Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- For Master’s Degree Applicants:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or a closely related field
- Graduate with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division (2:1)
- For PhD Candidates:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- The Master’s program must be research-based with at least a 60% average in coursework
