Program Details

The Gbajabiamila Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI) is dedicated to developing the next generation of visionary leaders who will drive progress and innovation in governance and public administration. The program seeks passionate individuals eager to contribute to public sector leadership, policy drafting, international relations, and national development.

Through the LMI Fellowship, participants will gain firsthand experience in legislative processes, access to mentorship by high-level public officials, and opportunities for policy exposure and leadership training. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the LMI Fellowship, applicants must:

  • Be between 18–35 years old.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to enhance leadership and governance skills.

How to Apply

To apply for the 4th cohort of the Gbajabiamila Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI) Fellowship:

  • Visit the application link and fill out the provided Google Form.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information to improve your chances of selection.
  • Prepare your responses to the following questions, compile them in a Word document, and upload the PDF version to the portal:
    • Why are you interested in participating in the LMI Fellowship Programme, and what do you hope to gain from it? (not more than 200 words)
    • How have you demonstrated leadership in the past? (not more than 200 words)
    • The LMI values equity and inclusion regardless of gender or ability status. What is your stance on equity, and how does it align with LMI’s values? (not more than 150 words)
  • Upload a 1-minute video explaining your interest in the program (video size should not exceed 100MB).
