Scholarship Details
The Learn Africa Scholarship Program is an initiative of the Women for Africa Foundation, launched in 2013 by María Teresa Fernández de la Vega, former Vice President of the Spanish Government
The program promotes knowledge transfer, capacity building, and academic exchange for African women through scholarships offered by top Spanish universities. It also offers three training formats: face-to-face, online, and blended (hybrid) learning
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Must be a woman with nationality and residence in any African country
- Must be enrolled in an African university or hold a degree issued in Africa
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree for postgraduate applications (requirements may vary per scholarship)
- Must meet the academic and technical requirements of the chosen program
- Only one application per person is allowed
- Must submit certified, legalized, and translated academic records if selected
- For online programs, must have a functional computer and internet connection
- Must meet the required language level and may be interviewed in the language of instruction
