The Lagos State Graduate Internship Placement Programme (GIPP) is a career development initiative designed to help young graduates build professional capacity and gain valuable workplace experience.
Through the programme, selected participants will undergo structured learning and internship placements that strengthen both technical and interpersonal skills. The initiative focuses on developing critical soft skills, behavioural competencies, and emotional intelligence needed to thrive in modern workplaces.
Participants will also receive training in areas such as communication skills, personal brand development, professional conduct, and workplace productivity tools. The programme is structured to help graduates improve their written and oral communication, advocacy skills, time management, and self-organisation.
In addition, the internship helps participants refine their professional outlook, including personal grooming, dress sense, confidence, passion, resilience, and drive, giving them a competitive advantage in the labour market.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Lagos State Graduate Internship Placement Programme, applicants must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme
- Have 0–3 years of work experience
- Possess a valid Lagos State Resident Registration Agency (LASRRA) card
