Applications are now open for the 2026 Khalifa University Spring Postgraduate Admission. The scholarship is awarded to qualified students pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree at Khalifa University. Scholarship allocation is determined as part of the admission process; therefore, there is no need to submit a separate application.
Scholarship slots are limited and awarded based on academic merit and alignment with the university’s strategic goals. Candidates are mapped to different scholarship tiers (full-time or part-time) based on performance and eligibility. However, meeting the minimum requirements does not automatically guarantee a scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the 2026 Khalifa University Graduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Academic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.5/4.0 (for direct Bachelor’s to PhD admission), or
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.25/4.0.
- English Proficiency:
- iBT TOEFL score of 91 or
- IELTS score of 6.5 overall or
- 1550 EmSAT English score
- GRE Requirement:
- A minimum quantitative score of 150 in the GRE. Applicants must attempt all 3 sections.
- Supporting Materials:
- Minimum of two referee recommendations
- Statement of Purpose (500–1,000 words)
- Research Statement (500–1,000 words)
- Admission interview
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants of the Khalifa University Graduate Scholarship will receive:
- Full coverage of tuition fees
- Basic monthly stipend of AED 20,000
- Additional monthly allowance of AED 20,000, subject to performance and approval

- Financial support for attending international conferences, subject to approval
- Medical insurance for full-time international students
- Round-trip airfare between the home country and Abu Dhabi (for full-time students)
