Offered by one of Taiwan’s top private medical universities, the Kaohsiung Medical University Scholarship is open to international students pursuing degrees in Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Health Sciences, Life Sciences, and more. KMU’s affiliated hospitals serve as training grounds for students while also delivering quality healthcare services.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the 2026 KMU Scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Nationality: Open to all international students except those from China
- For Undergraduate Programs: Must hold a senior high school diploma from an international school or equivalent
- For Master’s Programs: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher
- For PhD Programs: Must have completed a Master’s degree or higher

- Completed KMU Online Application Form and Scholarship Application Form
- Highest diploma, verified by the R.O.C. (Taiwan) representative office
- Official transcripts, verified by the R.O.C. representative office
- Financial statement
- Proof of nationality (passport or ID)
- Language proficiency certificate (English or Chinese)
- A study plan (written in English or Chinese)
- Two letters of recommendation
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Additional documents requested by your chosen department

How to Apply
To apply for this scholarship:
- Visit the KMU application portal via the button below.
- Register a personal account. (You may apply for up to 3 programs.)
- Read and accept the Declaration of Application Terms.
- Fill out the application form completely and upload all required documents.
- Submit application fee (only for applicants to the School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine).
- Download and sign the completed application form, then upload the scanned copy.
- Assign at least 2 referees per program applied.
- Click the “Submit Application” button to finalize your application.
Important: Applicants who complete their application before the deadline will be considered for both admission and scholarship.
