Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Italy Government Scholarships 2025-26, applicants must meet the following:
- Be from an eligible country or be an Italian citizen living abroad
- Meet the academic qualifications required by their chosen Italian institution
- Age Requirements:
- Under 28 for Master’s/AFAM
- Under 30 for PhD programs
- Under 40 for research projects
- Under 23 for Single Cycle Degree programs
- Language Proficiency:
- B2 in Italian for Italian-taught programs
- B2 in English for English-taught programs
- A2 in Italian for language and culture courses
- No mandatory certificate for some PhD/research programs (depending on institution)
