The International Institute of Agriculture (IITA) is offering young Nigerians the opportunity of working with the multinational company.

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is a non-profit agricultural research-for-development (R4D) organization, and a member of the CGIAR Consortium.

Eligibility Criteria 

To be qualified for The IITA Internship Program, applicants must:

For Hotel & Catering positions

• Be recent graduates in Hotel & Catering, or related fields
• Have basic knowledge of hotel operations, food service, or event coordination
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Pay attention to detail and be committed to delivering quality service
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Have ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Be flexible enough to work during occasional evenings or weekends during events

For Capacity Development Office

• Be recent graduates in Business Administration, Sociology, Human Resource Management, or related fields
• Have basic understanding of administrative processes and business operations
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Have strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Pay attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Have ability to work both independently and as part of a team

For People & Culture

• Be recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related fields
• Have foundational knowledge of programming or scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar)
• Have knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Be familiar with data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or Power BI
• Have understanding of software/system development principles
• Have interest in HR tech, data systems, or process automation is a plus
• Pay strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow through on assigned tasks
• Have good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
