Scholarship Details
The ICP Connect Scholarship supports the Master of Transportation Sciences – Road Safety in Low & Middle Income Countries, a two-year multidisciplinary program designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to address road safety challenges in developing nations.
The program integrates perspectives from psychology, engineering, planning, economics, environmental studies, and urban design. Each year, ten full scholarships are awarded under the VLIRUOS-supported initiative.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the ICP Connect Scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold at least an academic bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
- Behavioral sciences: psychology, sociology
- Social and political sciences
- Mathematical or statistical sciences
- Economics or transport economics
- Transport/traffic planning, geography, urban planning/design, architecture
- Engineering (transport or civil engineering)
- Have earned a minimum grade of distinction
- Note: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or HND alone is not sufficient for admission
- Have sufficient proficiency in English
- Be a national and resident of one of the 29 eligible VLIRUOS countries
- Be 35 years old or younger at the time of application
- Have professional experience in either the private or public sector
Scholarship Benefits
