The Humphrey Fellowship is a fully funded, non-degree graduate program that allows professionals to spend 10–12 months in the United States participating in academic coursework, leadership training, and professional collaboration. The program is administered by the U.S. Department of State through the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan for Pakistani applicants.

Eligibility Criteria

To be qualified for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship, applicants must:

  • Be Pakistani citizens with at least 8 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
  • Possess 16 years of formal education.
  • Demonstrate strong English language proficiency in speaking and writing.
  • University teachers or researchers without management experience are not eligible.
  • Individuals who graduated from a U.S. university within the past seven years or have five years of U.S. work experience are not eligible.
  • Applicants with dual Pakistani/U.S. citizenship or those with immediate family members who are U.S. citizens are not eligible.
  • Employees of the U.S. Department of State or related organizations are also ineligible.
