Heirs Oil and Gas Company Limited is providing a life-changing educational opportunity through the 2025 HOTSS Scholarship Scheme.

The OML 17 Heirs of Tomorrow Scholarship Scheme (HOTSS) is a transformative initiative spearheaded by Heirs Energies and its Host Community Development Trust (HCDT).

This scholarship is specifically designed to support academically promising and financially disadvantaged indigenes of the OML 17 host communities, ensuring equitable access to quality higher education.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Heirs of Tomorrow University Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and an indigene of any of the OML 17 host communities
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited Nigerian federal or state-owned university for an undergraduate program
  • Possess at least five O-Level credits including Mathematics and English in one sitting (WASC, SSCE or NECO)
  • Be a certified full-time student
  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 5.0 scale (or 2.5 on a 4.0 scale) each academic year
  • Not be a recipient of any other scholarship, bursary, or grant
  • Provide a valid identification letter from the applicable host community

Scholarship Benefits

All selected candidates will receive:

  • A ₦200,000 annual scholarship award
  • Continued financial support until graduation
