Scholarship Details
The scholarship is sponsored by the Great Ife Alumni Association, Dallas Branch, to support academically promising OAU students who require financial assistance to continue and excel in their studies.
Selected beneficiaries will receive either full or partial tuition support, along with a stipend to cushion educational and living expenses during the academic year. The initiative aims to reduce financial barriers and empower students to focus on academic excellence and personal development. Recipients may also gain mentorship exposure from Great Ife alumni based in the diaspora.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in Obafemi Awolowo University and working toward a Bachelor’s degree
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 5.0 scale
- Have successfully completed and passed all 100-Level courses
- Maintain good academic and personal conduct throughout the scholarship period
- Note that the Association may withdraw the award if academic or character expectations are not maintained
- Note that the Association may decide not to award the scholarship if no suitable candidate is identified
- All submitted application documents will remain the property of the Association
