Registrations are now open for the 2025 Google for Startups Growth Academy: AI for Government Tech Startups program.
Google for Startups Growth Academy: AI for GovTech is a three-month program targeted at Seed to Series A startups based in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The program supports companies using AI to build solutions that strengthen public services and government systems in key areas like education, energy, agriculture, housing, cybersecurity, transportation, and manufacturing.
The program includes workshops, mentorship sessions, and networking opportunities, equipping startup founders with data-driven growth strategies, guidance on international expansion, and the responsible use of emerging technologies. After the initial three-month core phase, participants continue to receive mentorship and product support from Google to address their evolving business challenges.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Google for Startups Growth Academy (AI for GovTech), you must:
- Be a Seed to Series A startup currently based in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa, and looking to scale internationally.
- Focus on AI innovations in government technology, including areas like digital public services, smart cities, infrastructure, public health, education, energy, climate response, safety, and security.
- Have demonstrated traction, such as funding, a user base, or revenue.
- Offer a scalable product or service with a clearly defined market opportunity and sustainable growth strategy.
