The CLAP Program 2025 offers hands-on training, mentorship, certification, and funding support to selected participants in the Nigerian fashion industry, with no IELTS requirement.

Scholarship Details
The Creative Leap Acceleration Program (CLAP) is a bold initiative established to strengthen Nigeria’s fashion value chain. Hosted in collaboration with The Fashion Academy Abuja, the program focuses on equipping early-stage fashion entrepreneurs with practical skills, technical knowledge, and business development strategies to thrive in a competitive industry.
CLAP is structured to bridge critical skill gaps by offering intensive, industry-relevant training. The program will run in two phases—from September to October 2025, and again in March 2026. Continuous feedback and performance monitoring will be jointly executed by the Ministry and The Fashion Academy Abuja to ensure optimum results and impact.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Federal Government CLAP Program, applicants must:
- Hold a minimum of an O-Level certificate
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of tailoring or the fashion business
- Provide evidence of an existing fashion business or a fashion design portfolio
- Show a strong commitment to growth and professional development
Scholarship Benefits
Successful participants of the Creative Leap Acceleration Program (CLAP) will receive:
