Applications for the 2026 EMOTION Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Scholarship are now open to qualified international students. EMOTION is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme funded by the European Commission and designed to train the next generation of translational scientists in the field of skin health and care.
The programme focuses on equipping students with advanced scientific knowledge and practical skills required for careers in research and development (R&D). Participants are trained to contribute to the design, conception, and development of innovative dermatological drugs, cosmetics, and medical devices that promote skin health and well-being.
The EMOTION programme is open to highly motivated and academically strong students who aspire to pursue careers in pharmaceutical research, biotechnology, cosmetics, and medical innovation, particularly within the skin health and dermatological sciences sector.
Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the EMOTION Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme, applicants must:
- Have an academic background in both biology and chemistry, as demonstrated by their academic records
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized higher education institution (equivalent to a European undergraduate degree of 180 ECTS)
- Hold a degree in a related field such as Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or any degree judged as equivalent
- Demonstrate a strong academic performance with a high grade average
- Meet the English language proficiency requirements of the programme
