Scholarship Details
The East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellowship is an annual, fully funded scholarship designed to support outstanding graduate students who want to pursue Master’s or PhD programs in the United States. The fellowship provides recipients with an opportunity to live, study, and engage in an intercultural learning environment, where participants from Asia, the Pacific, and the U.S. interact academically and socially.
The program’s primary aim is to strengthen international understanding, build a sense of Asia-Pacific community, and prepare participants for leadership roles across diverse professional fields. Fellows take part in educational, cultural, residential, and leadership development programs that encourage collaboration and global problem-solving.
Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the EWC Graduate Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be a national of the United States, Pacific Region, Southeast Asia, South Asia, or East Asia.
- Hold a 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized U.S. college or university.
- Have obtained at least a 3.00 CGPA out of 4.00 in undergraduate or graduate studies.
