Program Details

The Digital Health Africa Internship is designed to equip young leaders and emerging professionals with practical skills in digital health and its related fields. Over the course of six months, interns will participate in real-life project work, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute directly to the development of digital health solutions across Africa.

The program combines learning, mentorship, and hands-on assignments to strengthen participants’ practical knowledge and visibility in the health-tech space. Interns will work remotely while contributing to key DHA initiatives across media, research, youth engagement, innovation, advocacy, and partnerships.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Be young professionals or recent graduates aged 18–35
  • Show passion for digital health, technology, media, or policy
  • Be based in Africa or actively involved in Africa-focused work
  • Be able to commit 8–10 hours per week from January to June 2026
  • Be comfortable working remotely and collaborating with diverse teams
