Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Dalarna University Masters Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

For Fresh Students:

  • Tuition fee waivers are available only for on-campus Master’s degree programmes.
  • Applicants need to apply for the scholarship once before commencing their programme.
  • The deadline to submit scholarship applications for studies starting in the spring 2026 semester is July 15th, 2025.

For Enrolled Students:

  • Dalarna University offers tuition fee reductions for students who maintain outstanding academic results during their studies.
  • Applicants must have completed at least one semester (Master’s level) or two semesters (Bachelor’s level) within an on-campus degree programme at Dalarna University.
  • Students must be continuing the same degree programme for at least one more semester of full-time study.
  • Applicants must have achieved at least 50% grades of VG (Very Good), or a combination of grades 5 and 4, or grades A and B, depending on the grading scale used.
  • No course results can be below grade 3 or grade C.
  • Students must have successfully completed all credits from the first semester or year by the time scholarship decisions are made.
  • Applicants must be verified as “outstanding” by the faculty of their programme.

Successful candidates for the Dalarna University Masters Scholarship will receive the following benefits:

  • Partial tuition fee waiver between 10% and 50% of total tuition costs.
