The Clemson University Graduate Scholarship is an interdisciplinary research initiative guided by a team of faculty advisors, including Dr. Christophe Darnault (Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences), Dr. Brunela Rodrigues (Wood Utilization and Biomaterials), Dr. Michael Stoner (Civil Engineering), and Dr. Jim Anderson (James C. Kennedy Waterfowl and Wetlands Conservation Center)
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Clemson University Graduate Scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold a B.S. degree (for M.S. applicants) or an M.S. degree (for Ph.D. applicants) in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Wood Science, Forest Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline
- Have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00
- Demonstrate strong interest and experience in engineering design, material science, and design software
- Have interest in environmental sustainability, historic preservation, wetlands, statistics, and scholarly publishing, which is considered an advantage
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Scholarship Benefits
Successful recipients of the Clemson University Graduate Scholarship will receive:
- A full tuition waiver
- A living stipend of $25,000 for PhD students and $22,000 for BSc holders pursuing the M.S. program
