Scholarship Details
The Drake Stormwater Research Group at Carleton University is actively searching for talented students to fill Masters and PhD research assistant roles for the Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 academic intake.
This scholarship programme is funded through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and is led by Dr. Jennifer Drake. Selected scholars will contribute to a research project titled Microplastics & Green Infrastructure: Sources or Sinks?, exploring the relationship between microplastics and sustainable urban water systems. Further information about the project will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Carleton University Graduate Scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold an undergraduate degree in engineering (e.g. civil, environmental, water resources) or in science (e.g. chemistry, soil science)
- Have maintained at least a B+ average during the last two years of their undergraduate studies
