Scholarship Details
AIMS is dedicated to building advanced problem-solving capacity across Africa, equipping students with strong foundational skills in estimation, computation, approximation, modeling, data analysis, and statistics. During the elective review phase, students apply these skills in cutting-edge scientific fields through hands-on learning and collaborative exploration.
Selected candidates for the AIMS Master’s programme pay no registration fees. Successful applicants also receive a full scholarship that covers tuition, accommodation, meals, and travel expenses, ensuring they can focus entirely on their academic and research development.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the AIMS Scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold or expect to earn a 4-year university degree in mathematics or a science/engineering field with a strong mathematics component by the start of AIMS training.
- Demonstrate solid mathematics skills, along with leadership qualities and evidence of community engagement.
- Women are strongly encouraged to apply.
