The Afro-Tech Girls Laptop Scholarship 2026 is an initiative created to empower female students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) by providing them with the digital tools required to advance their education and professional growth.
Launched as part of the International Women’s Day 2026 celebration, the program seeks to support talented young African women who are passionate about building careers in STEM but lack access to essential technology such as laptops.
Through this initiative, 20 high-performance laptops will be awarded to selected applicants. These devices will enable recipients to develop technical skills, build projects, learn new digital tools, and access opportunities within the global technology ecosystem, ultimately strengthening their participation in the tech industry.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the AfroTech Girls Laptop Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be an African female

- Not own a personal laptop
