Established in 2007, the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) is a pan-African multilateral development financial institution focused on delivering practical and sustainable solutions to Africa’s infrastructure financing challenges. Through this internship programme, participants will gain valuable experience by working closely with professionals across investment, advisory, syndications, and portfolio management functions within AFC and AFC Capital.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the African Finance Corporation Internship 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Education
- A strong first degree in:
- Engineering
- Economics
- Finance
- Sciences
- Or related disciplines from a recognised university
- Additional qualifications such as an MBA or M.Sc. (completed or in view) in a relevant field will be an advantage
- Relevant professional certifications in finance or infrastructure investing are desirable
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience, preferably in:
- Infrastructure-related investment banking
- Financial advisory services
- Prior experience in:

- Financial analysis
- Preparation of pitch books and professional presentations
Language
- Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory

Internship Benefits
