Scholarship Details
She Code Africa is a fast-growing community dedicated to technically empowering and celebrating young girls and women in technology across Africa. With over 10,000 members, the community has active representation in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda, South Africa, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Rwanda, Liberia, and several other African countries.
Through the She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship Program, the organization seeks to bridge the digital gap by providing laptops and essential support to young women who do not have access to personal computers. The initiative ensures that every girl passionate about tech has the opportunity to learn, build projects, and grow professionally.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the 2026 She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship Program, applicants must:
- Be a female applicant
- Be following She Code Africa on Instagram, Twitter (X), Facebook, or LinkedIn
- Not already own a working laptop
- Have already started their journey in tech
- Be available to receive the laptop physically in:
- FCT Abuja
- Enugu State
- Osun State
- Bayelsa State
- Be a valid member of the She Code Africa community
Scholarship Benefits
Selected recipients will receive:
- A personal laptop for learning and project development
- Access to She Code Africa Academy programs
- Mentorship opportunities
- Support toward securing full-time jobs, launching entrepreneurial ventures, or obtaining certifications
