Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the Charles Darwin University RTP Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study at an Australian Higher Education Provider (HEP)
- Demonstrate exceptional research potential to undertake an HDR
- Not receive income from another source to support general living costs if that income exceeds 75% of the RTP stipend rate
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants of the Charles Darwin University RTP Scholarship will receive:
- AU$34,190 (2025 rate) per annum, tax-free for full-time students (paid fortnightly)
- AU$17,095 (2025 rate) per annum, taxable for part-time students (paid fortnightly)
- Full tuition fee coverage
- Paid sick leave and maternity leave
- Relocation allowance of up to:
- $2,000 for domestic students
- $2,500 for international students
