Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the 2026 Bilkent University International Scholarships, applicants must:
- Have a minimum CGPA of 2.80/4.00 (for BSc graduates or MSc students at the time of application)
- If a Turkish citizen residing in Turkey: Provide an ALES score (minimum 55 quantitative)
- If an international applicant: Provide a GRE General Test score (minimum 153 quantitative)
- Submit proof of English proficiency:
- TOEFL iBT (minimum 87)
- IELTS (minimum overall 6.5 with at least 5.5 in each section)
- Bilkent COPE (minimum grade C)
Applicants without TOEFL or IELTS may sit for Bilkent University’s Proficiency in Academic English (PAE) exam upon arrival and registration.

Scholarship Benefits
Financial support may be awarded as a tuition waiver or a tuition waiver plus a monthly stipend.
The scholarship package includes:
- Tuition waiver (up to 950,000 TL per academic year 2026–2027)
- Monthly stipend including housing support (up to 65,000 TL per month)
- Additional annual scholarship consideration based on performance
- Private health insurance

Awardees are expected to present and disseminate their thesis research results at recognized peer-reviewed conferences, supported by UNAM travel grants.
