Scholarship Details

The Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF), in partnership with the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Education, has launched the Student Share Grant Initiative to encourage investment and promote financial inclusion among Nigerian tertiary students.

The initiative is associated with the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE (DPRP). It is open to eligible Nigerian students aged 18 and above who are currently enrolled in recognised public or private tertiary institutions in Nigeria, including universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.

Under the scheme, interested students must complete the required verification process and personally apply for at least 10 shares in the refinery IPO through the designated student subscription channel. Students who meet the requirements may qualify for ADF to fund and submit a separate application for an additional 10 shares on their behalf at no cost to them. The additional grant application is limited to 10 shares per eligible student, regardless of the number of shares they personally request.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Aliko Dangote Foundation Student Share Grant, applicants must:

  • Be a Nigerian citizen.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited public or private tertiary institution in Nigeria, including a university, polytechnic, college of education, or another recognised tertiary institution.
  • Successfully complete the required verification process.
  • Personally apply for at least 10 Dangote Refinery IPO shares through the designated student subscription channel.

Scholarship Benefits

Successful and eligible applicants under the Aliko Dangote Foundation Student Share Grant Initiative may receive the following benefits:
