Scholarship Details
The Nestlé Nigeria Community Scholarship Scheme is designed to help bridge educational gaps by providing financial assistance to young people pursuing science and technical studies at both secondary and tertiary levels.
The initiative focuses on supporting students from Nestlé Nigeria’s host communities and nurturing their academic potential while contributing to the development of education and society.
The scholarship supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, which promotes inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Nestlé Nigeria University Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a 100-level student of an accredited university or polytechnic.
- Be studying a Science or Technical course.
- Have obtained at least five credits in WASSCE or NECO SSCE at one sitting in Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Have scored at least 200 in UTME/JAMB.
To qualify for the Nestlé Nigeria Senior Secondary Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be an SS1 student in a Science or Technical class.
- Have obtained at least five credits in the BECE (JSS3) examination, including relevant subjects such as Mathematics, English, and Basic Science.
- Be from one of the eligible communities: Obafemi Owode, Sagamu, or Agbara in Ogun State, or Manderigi and Abaji in the Federal Capital Territory.
