The MTN Foundation MUSON Scholarship Programme is a fully sponsored diploma programme designed for talented individuals who wish to build a professional career in music.
The two-year full-time programme aims to produce highly skilled musicians who can proceed through direct entry into universities to complete undergraduate degrees in music. The curriculum is modeled after international conservatory standards to ensure graduates receive world-class musical training.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the MTN Foundation MUSON Scholarship Programme 2026, applicants must:
- Possess the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level with credits in at least five subjects, including English Language; or
- Possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) with at least five credits, including English Language.
- Have obtained the required O’Level credits in not more than two sittings.
- Hold a Grade 5 or higher Practical Certificate from the MUSON School of Music or any other recognized music examination body.
- Hold a Grade 5 or higher Theory Certificate from the MUSON School of Music or any other recognized music examination body.
Note:
- Applicants with outstanding practical ability but who do not fully meet the theory requirement may still be considered for admission.
- Such candidates will be required to take a remedial music theory course and meet the minimum requirement during their first year.
