Scholarship Details
The Ireland Fellows Programme is designed to support talented early to mid-career professionals who are committed to driving sustainable development in their home countries. Through this prestigious initiative, fellows will undertake a fully funded 10 to 16-month Master’s degree at leading Irish universities in disciplines related to national and global development, including engineering, business, education, agriculture, health, climate change, law, and human rights. The programme seeks to equip participants with advanced knowledge, practical skills, and leadership experience that will enable them to contribute meaningfully to their communities upon completion of their studies.
In addition to academic training, fellows will participate in leadership development activities, professional networking, and cultural exchange programmes throughout their stay in Ireland. By covering all major study-related expenses, the programme allows participants to focus entirely on their education while building lasting relationships with professionals and scholars from around the world.
Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the Ireland Fellows Programme, applicants must:
- Be a citizen and resident of an eligible country.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent).
- Have 2–3 years of relevant professional work experience.
- Not already possess a Master’s degree.
- Demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to community development.
- Show dedication to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Meet the required English language proficiency requirements (IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent).
- Be available to commence studies according to the programme schedule.
