The Moroccan Scholarship Program is a fully funded opportunity offered by the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco through the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI). The scholarship supports international students pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees at Moroccan higher education institutions and vocational training centers. Selected applicants will receive a monthly stipend, round-trip airfare, and health insurance throughout the duration of their studies.

Scholarship Details
The Moroccan Scholarship Program is designed to provide outstanding international students with access to quality education in Morocco while promoting academic and cultural exchange. For the 2026/2027 academic session, the Government of Morocco is offering 20 fully funded scholarships for students enrolling in undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degree programs. Available fields of study include Medicine, Paramedical Sciences, Business and Management, Engineering and Technology, Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, and Architecture, among others. Applicants for Master’s and PhD programs are required to indicate their preferred university and study program during the application process.
As French is the primary language of instruction in most Moroccan institutions, applicants are expected to possess a basic level of proficiency in the language. Successful candidates will undertake French language training at the International Language Centre in Rabat before commencing their studies. Upon completing the course, participants will take a language proficiency examination, and those who successfully pass will be admitted into their assigned academic programs.
Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the Moroccan Scholarship Program, applicants must:
- Have a basic level of proficiency in the French language.
For Undergraduate applicants:
- Be between 19 and 23 years old.
- Hold a CAPE/Associate Degree obtained in 2025 or 2026.
- Have a strong academic record during the final two semesters of study.
For Master’s applicants:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in the intended field of study.
- Graduate with First Class or Second Class honours.
- Have a good academic record.
For PhD applicants:
- Hold a relevant Master’s degree in the intended field of study.
- Indicate their preferred program and university from the approved list available on the official platform.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants for the Moroccan Scholarship Program will receive:
- A monthly stipend of 1,750 Moroccan Dirhams.
- One one-way air ticket at the beginning of the program.
- One return air ticket upon completion of studies.
- Health insurance throughout the scholarship period.
- A lump-sum grant to cover dissertation or thesis printing costs for Master’s and PhD students (subject to supporting evidence).

- Completed application form.
- One authenticated copy of High School Certificate or Diploma.
- Two authenticated copies of High School academic transcripts.
- Birth Certificate.
- Passport bio-data page.
- Recent Criminal Record Certificate.
- Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Copy of National Identification Card (front and back).
- Certified copies of higher education certificates, academic transcripts, thesis, and thesis proposal (for Master’s and PhD applicants).
