Scholarship Details
The Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship is a prestigious hybrid leadership program designed for outstanding young professionals committed to addressing climate change and advancing the global clean energy transition. The fellowship brings together emerging climate leaders from across developing regions to engage with Yale faculty, internationally recognized climate experts, policymakers, and fellow changemakers through a combination of virtual learning and fully funded in-person sessions.
The five-month program begins with an orientation week at Yale University in the United States, where participants will establish the foundation for discussions on global climate challenges and clean energy solutions. This is followed by a series of interactive online sessions between March and June 2027, allowing fellows to collaborate with leading experts on climate policy and sustainable development. The fellowship concludes with a fully funded gathering in Paris, France, where participants will present collaborative recommendations, expand their international networks, and engage with representatives from government agencies and global organizations. The program is designed to strengthen participants’ leadership capacity, technical knowledge, and professional connections while equipping them to drive climate action in their respective regions.
