Scholarship Details

The Georgia Promise Scholarship is a state-funded initiative created under Senate Bill 233 (2024) to expand access to alternative education options. It operates as an Education Savings Account (ESA), allowing families to use public funds for approved non-public education expenses.

This programme is designed to give parents greater flexibility in choosing the best educational path for their children, including private schooling, homeschooling, and other tailored learning solutions. Rather than a traditional scholarship, it empowers families to directly manage how educational funds are spent.

The initiative particularly targets students in lower-performing public school zones, offering them the opportunity to transition into better-suited educational environments while still receiving financial support from the state.
