Training Details
The Lagos Agripreneurship Programme (LAP) is an initiative by the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems aimed at empowering young people with modern agricultural knowledge and skills. The programme is designed to expose participants to opportunities within the food systems value chain through structured training, internship, and mentorship phases.
It aligns with the state government’s T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Development Agenda, focusing on capacity building, job creation, and food security. Participants will gain practical experience in various agricultural fields, preparing them to become self-reliant agripreneurs and contributors to Nigeria’s agricultural development.
Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the Lagos Agripreneurship Programme, applicants must:

- Possess at least a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE)
- Have a genuine interest in agriculture
- Be physically and medically fit
- Have a valid LASRRA number
Program Benefits
Successful participants of the Lagos Agripreneurship Programme will receive:
