The Swedish Institute Impact Pioneers 2026 is a global leadership initiative created to support professionals who work in organizations that promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development.
The program focuses on strengthening leadership capacity among individuals working in accelerators, incubators, innovation hubs, and institutions that support startups and entrepreneurs. Through collaborative learning and international networking, participants will gain insights into building resilient and inclusive innovation ecosystems.
The 2026 edition of the program places particular emphasis on sustainable innovation, exploring areas such as renewable energy, urban infrastructure, and circular economy solutions. Participants will exchange ideas, share experiences, and develop practical strategies to address challenges within their local entrepreneurship ecosystems.
During the program, participants will engage in interactive discussions, collaborative learning activities, and networking sessions with fellow professionals from across different regions. They will also gain exposure to Sweden’s globally recognized innovation and startup ecosystem.
The program includes a one-week on-site visit to Stockholm from September 27 to October 3, 2026, where participants will take part in workshops, meetings, and study visits with leading organizations and experts in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Swedish Institute Impact Pioneers 2026, applicants must:

- Currently work in an organization or business that supports entrepreneurs or startup development
- Have the authority or role to build international partnerships for their organization
- Possess good written and spoken English skills
- Be willing to actively participate, share knowledge, and collaborate with other participants
- Have identified a challenge or opportunity related to improving their local climate-tech or entrepreneurship ecosystem
